What Is LVT?
Luxury Vinyl Tile — or LVT — is one of the most popular flooring choices in the UK right now, and it's easy to see why. LVT comes in two main fitting formats. Click-lock flooring floats over the subfloor without adhesive, making it quicker to install and ideal for most domestic settings. Glue-down LVT is adhered directly to the subfloor, allowing individual planks and tiles to be cut and laid in bespoke patterns — ideal for statement interiors or commercial spaces. Every Karndean residential floor comes with a 35-year warranty, and the range spans everything from realistic wood-effect planks to stone and tile designs, available in both click-lock and glue-down formats. The glue-down option in particular opens up the possibility of creative laying patterns — herringbone, brick bond, double drop — giving you the bespoke look of a much more expensive floor at a fraction of the cost.

For customers who want the look and performance of LVT without the premium price tag, Abingdon's LVT range offers a genuinely impressive option. Using emboss-in-register technology, their planks and tiles replicate the natural grain and texture of timber with real conviction. A 0.55mm wear layer and four-sided bevel edge add depth and durability, while the choice of click or dry-back fitting gives flexibility for different rooms and budgets.
Their ranges include plank-style designs in Eminence, classic herringbone in Artisan, and parquet-inspired collections in Tapestry and Mosaic — each available in a selection of realistic wood finishes.
